Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kronberger, Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Benedict, Mrs. Helen Lawrence,
and Mr. and Mrs. Rollie Benedict spent Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Lulloff at Loyal to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. Also present were
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Benedict and daughter Susan of Loyal. A gift was presented
the honored couple as a remembrance of the occasion.
A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Walter July 31, 1970 at St. Joseph's
Hospital at Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Braun and family of Portage, and Miss Sharon Gunia of
Madison spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gunia.
Several neighbors and friends attended a golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and
Mrs. Wm. Schmitz at Anderson's Hall in Chili Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Dahl, and Mr. and Mrs. Milford Rowe spent Sunday with Mr. and
Mrs. Glen Rowe at Milwaukee.
Dinner guests at the Rollie Benedict home Wednesday were Mr. and Mrs. Gene Smith
and family of Racine, and Robert Smith of Loyal, and on Thursday Mr. and Mrs.
Allen Diedrick of Sparta, and Nordahl Fristadt of Humbird.
Rev. and Mrs. Wendell Bennett of Plainville were callers at the Flossie
Schmidtke and Rollie Benedict homes Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Benedict, Mrs. Leo Kronberger, and Mrs. Helen Lawrence
attended a birthday party for Mrs. Esther Davis at Marshfield Sunday afternoon.
Frank Wilson of the town of Weston, son-in-law of Mrs. Mae Holt, has entered the
Veteran's Hospital at Madison where he will undergo surgery Monday.
