Greenwood (28 March 1974)
Mr. and Mrs. Terry Palmer of Minneapolis spent Saturday and Sunday with the
Truman Hill, Sam Johnson, and Leniel Meyer families here and the Fred Fetting
family in Loyal. Mrs. Palmer is the former Sheila Hempel of Greenwood.
A birthday party was held Monday afternoon in Black River apartments, honoring
Mrs. Mary Landini and Mrs. Clara Gray. Games were played and prizes were
awarded. A potluck supper was served, including a birthday cake presented by Mr.
and Mrs. Ralph Landini.
Albert Perko, formerly of this area, is expected to arrive Saturday from
Indonesia, to visit his sister, Mrs. Mary Landini, and other relatives.
Lawrence Cox has been released from Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Liebzeit and Mr. and Mrs. Knute Wallin spent the weekend in
Milwaukee, where they attended the sports show and visited the Emmett Hanson
family in Cudahy. During their absence Mr. and Mrs. Vic C. Wallin of Grand View
stayed with their grandsons, Karl and Leif Wallin.
