Haugen, Freeman P. (Frank) (4 February 1885 - 21 March 1974)

Word has been received here concerning the death of a Neillsville native, Freeman P. (Frank) Haugen, 89, who died March 21, in a Stoughton nursing home.

Mr. Haugen was born February 4, 1885, in Neillsville; he lived in Baraboo for 30 years.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Elen Stewart, Kingman, Az; three brothers: Ranguall, Minneapolis, Mn, Theodore, Madison, S.D., and Thomas Stoughton; and a step-daughter, Mrs. Throneil Haugen, Madison. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie, in 1956.

Services were held March 25, at Forest Hill Chapel, Madison, with the Rev. Donald Rudrud of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery.
