Members of St. Mary’s Parish city Group met October 4 to discuss plans for their
annual holiday fair with soup and salad buffet. The event is scheduled for
Saturday, November 14, from 9 am to 2 pm at St. Mary’s School, Colby.
The soup and salad buffet will feature homemade cream of broccoli, chicken
noodle and chicken dumpling soups, assorted pies and beverages. It will be
served from 11 am to 1 pm in the school cafeteria. Craft vendors will set up
throughout the school’s classrooms.
In addition to the craft vendors, there will be other items available for
purchase, such as “Books Are Fun,” holiday/Christmas cookies for sale by the
pound, stolen bread, scones and pies. A silent auction will feature a fabulous
assortment of specialty gift baskets.
