Norbert J. Biss, age 75, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Abbotsford followed by the burial at St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery, Cable. Father Peter Manickam will officiate. Family and friends are welcome from 9:30 AM until time of service Monday at the church.

Norbert was born on January 18, 1940 in Ashland, the son of Bill and Marie (Brawner) Biss. He spent most of his growing up years in Cornell and graduated from Cornell High School in 1958 and River Falls State College in 1964. He taught 1 year at Mellen High School and then at Abbotsford High School until retiring in 1991.

Norbert is survived by his brother Bill (Lillian), Albuquerque, NM and their sons, Bill (Ana), Aurora, CO and Brian, Las Vegas, NV; cousins, Al Brawner, Carthagena, OH and Marie (Darrell) Anderson, Fairchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
