Johnson, Wayne Albert (21 OCT 1945 - 28 OCT 2015)

Wayne Albert Johnson, age 70, passed away Sunday October 25, 2015.

Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday November 1, 2015 at Spirit Methodist Church, Pastor Deb Hastings officiating. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Hillcrest, Cemetery, Spirit, WI.

Wayne was born on October 21, 1945, in Tomahawk, WI, to Albert Victor and W. Jane (Fickel) Johnson.

He graduated from Rib Lake, High School.

Wayne owned and operated his own dairy farm. He had a love for all animals, and really enjoyed watching and feeding deer on his farm. He also enjoyed bowling, and playing softball and baseball and earned the nickname “Home Run Johnson” by many.

He attended Spirit Methodist Church.

Wayne is survived by siblings Pearl (Ben) Kauer of Rib Lake, WI and Joseph (Dorene) Johnson of Spirit, WI; nieces and nephews: Jack Kauer, Neil Kauer, Marijane (Jason) Viergutz, Dean Johnson, Jolene (Craig) Berger, and Jason (Jenny) Johnson; and many cousins.

He is predeceased by his parents, Albert Victor and W. Jane (Fickel) Johnson.

Memorial donations in honor of Wayne may be given to his family, for future designation.
