Columbia (11 April 1974)

March may have gone out like a lion, but its ending also brought twin lambs to the William Sollberger farm.

Dean Upton and a friend of Madison spent last weekend on his property here. They visited the William Sollbergers Satruday.

Georgeana and William Schulz attended a birthday party at the Mark Vornholt home in Neillsville April 3, where the birthdays of Mrs. Vornholt and Mrs. Ole Aspen were observed.

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Wampole of Madison were weekend guests, March 30 and 31, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Mashin. The Wampoles second daughter, Rhonda, is attending school in Madrid, Spain. Leaving from Mexico, where she studied for a time, and arriving in Spain sometime in October, she will be returning to the united States in July. Rhonda is studying the Spanish language and plans to teach Spanish after receiving her degree.

Mr. and Mrs. George Church of Pine Valley recently visited at the George Mashin home.

Mr. and Mrs. George Mashin visited Mr. and Mrs. John Apfel in Levis Wednesday evening, and they spent Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. George Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Brillhart and Mr. and Mrs. G. Vance of Sharon spent the weekend in the Brillhart cabin on Main Street.
