Briggs, Eula May (25 December 1886 - 2 April 1974)

A former Humbird area resident, Eula May Briggs, 87, of Memorial Home at Neillsville, who died April 2, was buried Thursday in the Town of Mentor Cemetery at Humbird. Services were held that morning from the Georgas Funeral Home with the Rev. William Noble of the United Methodist Church officiating.

Miss Briggs, the daughter of Howard M. and Harriette (Nevele) Briggs, was born December 25, 1886, at Cedar Falls and was educated there. She remained at home and worked in the area. Miss Briggs entered Memorial Home January 3, 1964.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Florence Briggs of Eau Claire, and a brother, James K. Briggs of Humbird.

Pallbearers were Henry Collings, Jake Fitzmaurice, Wesley Washburn and Harley Gates.
