Hamelin, Ruby Lucille (23 January 1909 - 3 March 1974)
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral Home for
Mrs. Ruby Lucille Hamelin, 65, who died March 3 at her home in Neillsville. The
Rev. Ronald J. Nordin of Calvary Lutheran Church officiated and burial was made
in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hamelin, the daughter of Andrew and Mary (Johnson) Swing, was born January
23, 1909, at Emery. She received her education at schools in St. Croix Falls,
and worked in Minneapolis, Mn, and in Milwaukee during her lifetime.
Her marriage to Henry C. Hamelin took place June 11, 1928, at Waukegan, Il. The
couple lived in Milwaukee before coming to Neillsville in 1965. Following his
death on November 14 of that year, Mrs. Hamelin returned to Milwaukee, then
moved back to Neillsville in November of 1972.
She is survived by five children: Mrs. Hubert (Dona) Kenowoski of Waupaca,
Thomas and Joseph Hamelin of Milwaukee, Mrs. Sharron Wunderlich of San
Francisco, Ca., and Mrs. Jim (Rose) Meier of Rt. 3 Neillsville; a sister, Mrs.
Clarence (Mildred) Zillsett of Lake City, Mn; and 16 grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bruce Hamelin, Paul and John Kenowoski, Larry Stinnett, Monty
Ford and Norman Bussian.
Miss Linda Diers was the organist.

and Mrs. Hubert Kenowoski, Kathy, John and Cindy and Mrs. L. Boyles, Waupaca; Mr
and Mrs. Charles Ford and Mr. and Mrs. Monty Ford, Lundstrom, Mn; Mr. and Mrs.
Willis Reiter and Phyllis J. Clark, Dresser; Larry Stinnett, Stevens Point.
