Scheel, Ray (8 JUN 1884 – 9 AUG 1970)
Ray Scheel, 46 of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), died Sunday, Aug. 9, 1970, in the
Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 13, 1970 at 2:00 at the Roycraft
Funeral Home in Loyal. Burial will take place in the Loyal Cemetery. Rev. Paul
Miller will officiate at the ceremony.
Mr. Scheel was born on June 8, 1923 in York Township. He spent one year in the
armed forces and then worked in Alaska, and later in Florida doing construction
work. He received his education in the Romadka schools and has been a resident
of Greenwood for the past five years.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Edna) Redig of Marshfield and Mrs.
Paul (Julia) Kippenhan of Greenwood; and one brother, Mr. Donald Scheel of
Orlando, Fla. He is also survived by his father, Ralph Scheel of Neillsville.
