Yankee, Carl A. (1885? - 30 March 1974)
Funeral services were held April 2 from Zion American Lutheran Church in the
Town of Grant for Carl A. Yankee, 88, of Rt. 1 Granton, who died March 30 in
Neillsville. The Rev. Richard Eggen officiated and burial was made in the Town
of Lynn Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Georgas Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were: Louis Breseman, Norman Beilke, Harold Beilke, Donald Stringer,
Louis Riedel and Celon Winter.
Hymns were sung by the congregation. Mrs. Leland Garbisch was the organist.
In addition to those from the Chili, Granton, and Neillsville areas, Mrs. Erma
Turman of Eau Claire and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Roder and Mrs. Harlow Hanson of
Marshfield attended the services.
