Erickson, Kathryn Marie (15 AUG 1970)
On Saturday, Aug. 15, 1970, Donald Gene Friday took Kathryn Marie Erickson for
his bride in the Zion Lutheran Church of Colby at a 10:30 service.
Parents of the the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Marvin R. Erickson, Rt. 1, Unity. The
groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. Friday of Colby.
Organist for the ceremony was Miss Pankow.
The bride was seen in a white A-line dress of nylon over taffeta, with lace
bodice and waist attached train of nylon over netting. She wore a floral
headpiece with an elbow length veil. She carried red roses and white carnations
with lace and ribbon streamers trimmed with red rose buds.
Matron of honor for the occasion was Mrs. Rodney Friday, Green Bay. She wore a
blue empire street length dress with matching headpiece and carried white roses
and pink carnations with pink and white streamers.
The best man was Mr. Rodney Friday, Green Bay.
A wedding reception was held at Mosinee.
Mrs. Friday is a 1970 graduate of Colby High School and is employed at Packaging
Corporation at Colby.
After returning from a wedding trip in Northern Wisconsin, the couple will
reside at 308 S. Main Street, Colby, Wis.
