The Wallis-Hinker Legion Post and the American Legion Auxiliary postponed meeting will be held in the Legion Hall Monday evening, April 22, at 8 p.m. The Loyal post will also host the meeting of the Clark County Legion that same evening. The hostesses will be Mrs. Helen Behrens, Mrs. Jake Barr, Mrs. Don Tieman and Mrs. Don Warner.

The birthday club was entertained Monday evening by Mrs. Buker with a 6:30 dinner at the café, followed by cards at the home of Mrs. Marcia Palms. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Palmer Vinger, Mrs. Don Warner, Mrs. Carl Stabnow and Mrs. Marcia Palms.

The Intersee Club met Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Carl Stabnow.

Mr. and Mrs. Jay Erickson and son, Jayjay, of Portage, were guests Wednesday of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Erickson.

The Senior Citizens will meet in the Clark Electric auditorium tonight (Thursday) at 7 o’clock. Hostesses will be Mrs. Dorthy Miller, Mrs. Florence Spurgeon and Mrs. Catherine Waldhauser.

St. Ann’s society will meet in St. Mary’s auditorium tonight (Thursday) at 8 p.m. Hostesses will be St. Jane’s group.

The Ladies Aide of Trinity Lutheran Church will be entertained at the home of Mrs. Thomas Elmer today (Thursday) at 1:30 p.m.

Mrs. Anna Rossman, Mrs. Kathryn Ivey and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart visited Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Ruby Syth in Neillsville.

The Tuesday afternoon 500 club met at the home of Mrs. Leota Murphy.

Mrs. James Goetz and sons of Stevens Point are spending several days at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Clintsman.

The Clark County Association for Retarded Children was to meet Wednesday in Greenwood.

Easter Sunday dinner and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Le Roy Kesler were Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Tolaney of Stevens Point; Toney J. Tolaney and Miss Bunny Seiler of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tolaney, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tolaney, Jr., and daughters, Tina and Missy.

Satruday evening supper guests at the Godfrey Dyre home were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lamonica and sons, Joseph and Mark of Rolling Meadows, Il., and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Olson and sons, Travis and Chad, of Glenwood City, Mr. and Mrs. David McFarlane, and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Voss and son, Jeffrey.

Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Severson and Miss Louise Keiner spent three days recently with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kaisler of Waukesha at the Kaisler cottage on White Lake, near Montello. They also visited relatives and friends from Pewaukee, Sussex and Pittsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Olson and sons have returned to Glenwood City after spending several days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Dyre and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Olson.

The Adult Fellowship of the Zion United Church will meet Sunday evening. Hostesses will be Mrs. Bertha Dallman, Mrs. Hazel Helwig and Mrs. Alice Perkins.

Easter Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Dyre w re Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lamonica and sons of Rolling Meadow, Il.; Mr. and Mrs. Chares Steuber, Janet, Diane, Karlis and Wayne Steuber and Fay Anderson of Mondovi; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rossow.

The Youth Fellowship met Sunday evening in Immanuel United Church to work on centennial banners for the church. A lunch was served by The Vernon Henaman family. The next meeting will be held May 12.

The Naomi circle of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church will meet today (Thursday) at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Sam Johnson.

Mr. and Mrs. Randy Karlen and daughter, Stacy, of Stanley, spent Saturday evening with Mrs. Edwin Hegenbarth.

Mrs. Robert Stewart was dismissed Thursday from Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Mrs. James Turnquist and children and her mother, Mrs. Glen Drew, spent from Thursday until Sunday with the Ronald and Danny Drew families in Milwaukee.

Easter Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Verhulst were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Verhulst and daughters, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Verhulst of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Celon Gotter of Loyal; Miss Arlene Verhulst of La Crosse; Miss Judith Verhulst of Waverly, Ia.; Miss Ruth Verhulst, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Verhulst, John Koschak and Mr. and Mrs. Wally Hribar.

Mrs. Ruth Bertz and Mrs. Helen Axelson of Loyal were recent visitors at the home of Mrs. Olaf Johnson.

Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Thiede, Sr., of Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Thiede Jr., and daughter, Jennifer, of Ames, Ia., spent Easter Sunday at the home of Mrs. Ellie Swieso.

Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux and sons, Mr and Mrs. Dale Brux, and Miss Monica Brux of Marshfield and Miss Janet Brux of Glendale Heights, Il.; returned Sunday evening after spending the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Horton in Madison.

Dr. Ronald Nichols, a surgeon at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago, presented a lecture to the staff at a hospital in Marshfield. Before returning to Chicago Dr. Nichols visited his grandmother, Mrs. Olaf Johnson, at the Black River apartments in Greenwood.

Easter weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart were their children and grandchildren, Keith Stewart and son, Mark, of Middleton; Robert Stewart of Stanley; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Rohde and sons, Dean and Douglas, of River Falls.

Lori and Donald Drew of Milwaukee are spending several days with their grandmother, Mrs. Glen Drew, and with the James Turnquist family.

Miss Janet Brux of Glendale Heights, Il., is spending a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux.

Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Steuber and family and Miss Fay Anderson of Mondovi.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Vollrath and family of Green Bay spent the Easter weekend at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath.
