Klemm, William (27 MAR 1884 – 25 DEC 1967)
Word was received here of the death of a former area resident, William J. Klemm,
83, of Milwaukee, who died Dec. 25, 1967. Funeral services were held Dec. 28 at
Ladysmith at St. John's Lutheran Church, and burial was made at Medford.
Mr. Klemm was born March 27, 1884, in the town of Green Grove. He worked in the
Medford office of a lumber company from 1915 to 1922, and then moved to
Ladysmith.
His marriage to Eda H. Will took place at Medford Oct. 12, 1916. Her death
occurred Aug. 11, 1943, and on April 14, 1952, he married Orra Wickersham, who
died April 11, 1961.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Esther) Kozlowski of Milwaukee and Mrs.
Wilmond (Hazel) Balko, Sheldon. There are five grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death are a daughter, Leona, who died in 1927, a brother,
Richard, and a sister, Henrietta.
