Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kaufman of Woodstock, Ill., are the parents of a son, John Mark, who was born Feb. 2, 1968. John Mark is their first child and weighed seven pounds, six ounces at birth, and mearsured 21 inches tall.

Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson of Colby and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Kauffman of Sheldon are the grandparents.
