Sandsnes, Reeta F. (Smith) (12 MAR 1935 - 3 NOV 2015)

Reeta F. (Smith) Sandsnes, age 80, of Monona, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015 at Agrace HospiceCare.

She was born on March 12, 1935, in Ladysmith, Wis., the daughter of Lloyd and Iris Smith.

Reeta loved the outdoors and being by water. Family meant everything to Reeta. She was very social and her friendships were important to her.

Reeta is survived by her children, Carl Sandsnes, Terri Zimmerman and Eric Sandsnes; and five grandchildren, Jeremy (Sarah), Michael (Melissa) and Donald Sandsnes, Chad (Jessica) Zimmerman and Christine (Michael) Paisant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arden, “Sandy”; son, Christian; parents; brother, Lloyd Smith; and sister, Patricia Faude.

A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, with the Rev. Jerry Amstutz presiding. A private family burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park at a later date.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
