Joan Ellen, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Nikolay of Abbotsford, was
baptized at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Abbotsford, Sunday afternoon. The
Rev. Emil Hodnik performed the rite at 2 o'clock. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Studinger of
Medford, maternal uncle and aunt of the baby, were sponsors.
To celebrate the occasion, a five o'clock dinner was served at the Nikolay home.
Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Studinger and family, Father Hodnik, and Mrs. Anna
Nikolay of Abbotsford, the baby's grandmother.
