Mueller, Sandra K. (Kuenne) (15 AUG 1947 - 8 NOV 2015)
Sandra K. Mueller, age 68, of Colby formerly of Holway, passed away on Sunday,
November 8, 2015 at the Colonial Center in Colby.
Family and friends are welcome from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the
Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen on Wednesday November 11, 2015. Interment
will be at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in the Town of Holway on Friday, November 13th
at 1:00 PM. Family would like to invite friends to the Holway Town Hall, for a
lunch, on Friday at 2:30 PM and to share stories and memories of Sandra.
Sandra was born on August 15, 1947, the daughter of Walter and Delores (Bruegl)
Kuenne in Wisconsin. She attended Pine Creek Elementary and Medford High School
until tenth grade.
Sandra was joined in marriage to Richard C. Mueller on December 13, 1969 in
Neillsville, WI. He preceded her in death on October 18, 1999.
She was a cook for Medo Farms restaurant in Abbotsford for many years and also
worked for Abbotsford Produce. She very much enjoyed babysitting the grandkids,
sewing and knitting. Gardening was very important to her and she always had a
beautiful garden.
Sandra is survived by her children: Tammy (Dave Zimmerlee) Mueller of Owen,
Tracy (Jim Guyette) Halopka of Abbotsford, Duane (Rebekah) Mueller of Wausau,
and Darrick (Danielle) Mueller of Owen; five grandchildren: Ashley, Brock,
Hallie, Tori, and Duane Jr.; and two step-grandchildren: Megan and Justin. Also
survived by a great-granddaughter: Carly Joann Bauer; two sisters: Barbara
(Marvin) Neumann of Withee, and Shirley Kuenne of Withee; and two brothers:
Terry (Nancy) Kuenne and Walter (Beth) Kuenne Jr.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband; Richard.
Sandra’s family would like to thank the staff at the Colonial Center for the
wonderful care she received while she was a resident there.
