Grendzinski, Daniel M. (1 DEC 1969 - 9 NOV 2015)
Daniel M. Grendzinski, 45, Athens, died Monday, November 9, 2015 at Aspirus
Wausau Hospital.
He was born December 1, 1969 in Wausau, son of Leon and Elizabeth (Hartl)
Grendzinski.
Daniel worked as a cheesemaker at Rondele Foods for 15 years. Like most born and
bred Wisconsinites, he was an avid Packer fan and felt at home outdoors. His
passions included hunting, fishing, camping and boating. His two beloved dogs,
"the boys" Barney and Fred, were never far behind. Family and friends will
always remember "Dan the Man" for his independent spirit and unique sense of
humor.
He is survived by his parents, Leon & Elizabeth Grendzinski, Wausau; sisters,
Deborah Jones, Kronenwetter and Diane (Wilt) Faber, Ringle; brothers, Dennis
Grendzinski, Wisconsin Rapids and David (Connie) Grendzinski, Weston;
sister-in-law, Shelly Grendzinski, Aurora, CO; special friend, Christine Bachar,
Athens, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Michael & Elizabeth Hartl and Alex
& Jennie Grendzinski, uncles Bernard Grendzinski, Mike Hartl and Francis
Ellenbecker and aunts, Maggie VanRyzin and Mary Treml.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 at
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Matthew Marshall
will officiate.
Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday
from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
