Walley, Marianna Elsie (Bezak) (31 OCT 1929 - 23 NOV 2015)
Marianna Elsie Walley, 86, of Abbotsford, WI, passed away Monday, November 23,
2015, at the Golden Living Center Continental Manor in Abbotsford.
Marianna was born October 31, 1929, in Sheboygan, WI, daughter of Henry
Friedricksmeier and Elsie Louise (Leffel) and Steve Bezak.
She attended school in Unity, WI, where she graduated in 1947. She continued her
education at Madison University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree.
She worked as a drug and alcohol counselor and later became a trainer for
Community Training and Development in Fond du Lac, WI, funded by local and
governmental entities. In later years she was the Editor of the Tribune
Photograph in Abbottsford and operated a supper club in Colby, WI. She also was
the Director for Homme Homes in Wausau before her retirement.
Marianna enjoyed volunteering and served on the board at Randlin Homes. She is
survived by her children; Linda Davis of Henderson, NV, Ellie (Larry) Dassow of
Medford, WI, Lisa Nicosia, Dianna Walley, Tom (Tiffney Lucas) Walley and Tonya
Rosandich all of Wausau, WI; 10 grandchildren, several great and great-great
grandchildren and one sister Carol (Roger) Glaeser of Green Bay, WI.
Marianna was preceded in death by her parents and a son Stephan.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015, at the
Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce Street, Wausau, Pastor Ron Schuenke will
officiate.
