Gregorich, Mary (90th Birthday-1974)

Mrs. Mary Gregorich celebrated last Sunday her 90th birthday at the parish community center.

Mrs. Gregorich was born April 18, 1884, in Yugoslavia, where she was married to John Gregorich. In 1907 she arrived in Bernard, Ia., and they moved onto a farm near Willard in 1923.

Her husband died several years ago. Mrs. Gregorich is the mother of six living children: Joseph and Mathew of Greenwood; Edward of Lyons, Il.; Mrs. Mayme Kezel of Cicero, Il.; Leo and Mrs. Albert (Christine) Bukovec of Willard. She has 26 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.

All her children, and some of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren were present for a dinner held in her honor at the parish center last Sunday afternoon. Some close friends and neighbors also were present.

After the festivities, different games were played and there was a social hour. She received a number of gifts and congratulatory cards.
