Wehrman, Jeanette Marie (4 MAY 1957)
On Saturday morning, May 4, 1957, Jeanette Marie Wehrman, daughter of Mrs. Erna
Wehrman of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) and Charles Suda, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Tony Suda, also of Greenwood, were united in marriage at St. Mary's Catholic
Church in Greenwood. Rev. Edward Hartung, pastor, officiated.
The bride's gown was waltz length illusion over slipper satin, with a fitted
bodice of French imported lace, Queen Ann collar and long sleeves, which came to
a point over the hand. The full skirt was styled with tiers of illusion, and
imported lace inserts. Her ballerina veil, edged in lace was attached to a
colonial cap of pearls and sequins.
Avis Lunka, Willard, a friend, was chosen as maid of honor, and Stanley Suda,
brother of the groom, was best man.
Other attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wehrman, brother and sister-in-law of
the bride, Joann Miller, Whitewater, a cousin of the bride, and John Suda,
brother of the groom. Blue, pink and yellow were chosen by the attendants. Each
carried a bouquet of carnations in contrast with their dresses.
Nyle Brandt, cousin of the bride, and Francis Kohlnhofer, a friend of the groom,
were ushers.
Following the ceremony dinner was served in the church hall and a reception was
held at the home of the groom's parents.
Mrs. Suda graduated from the Loyal High School and Mr. Suda attended Greenwood
High School and served two years with the Armed forces oversea.
After a honeymoon touring the western states they will be at home on a farm
northeast of Greenwood.
