Voigt, Jeanine M. (Marriage - 20 April 1974)
Jeanine M. Voigt and Wendell R. Williams were united in marriage April 20 at 11
a.m. at the University Religious Center in Whitewater. The Rev. Theotis Nolland
officiated at the ceremony. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Oliver
Williams of Rt. 2 Granton and Mrs. Sylvia Holzbauer of Palmyra.
The bride wore a pastel pink and white gown and carried multi-colored pastel
spring flowers.
Jean Vandeberg, the groom’s sister, was the bride’s honor attendant. Her gown
was lavender. Phil Holzbauer was bestman.
Dinner was served at the Sterlingworth Motor Inn at 12:30 p.m.
A wedding dance was held Friday, April 26, at the Silver Dome Ballroom. Family
members and friends were guests of Nathan and Jean Vandeberg the following day
for a picnic at their summer home at Hatfield.
The groom operates a dairy farm near Granton. The new Mrs. Williams is in the
field of special education. She received her training at the University of
Wisconsin.
