Mr. and Mrs. John Fox and family spent the weekend with relatives in Iowa.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ziemendorf of Pittsville visited Sunday at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Willard Ziemendorf.
Bill Bogdonovich visited recently at the home of Mrs. Olaf Johnson.
Mrs. Edwin Hegenbarth visited Sunday in Stanley at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Marvin Karlen.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fahey of Stanley visited Tuesday with Mrs. Hastings Baird and
Mr. and Mrs. Willard Ziemendorf.
The American Lutheran Church women will meet in the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church
today (Thursday) at 1:30 p.m. Hostesses will be Mrs. Leslie Johnson, Mrs. Dale
Jollivette and Mrs. Lyle Verhulst.
St. Ann’s Society will meet at 8 p.m. today (Thursday) in St. Mary’s auditorium.
Hostesses will be St. Jane’s group.
The spring rally of the Lutheran women’s missionary league will be held in
Medford today (Thursday)
The birthday of Mrs. Eugene Antrim was observed Tuesday afternoon at the home of
Mrs. Wilbur Stewart. Guests included Mrs. Viv Carteron, Mrs. Edith Stafford, Mr.
Kathryn Ivey, Mrs. Fred Clintsman, Miss Ruth Verhulst, Mrs. Florence Schwarze,
Mrs. Leota Murphy, Mrs. Beatrice Jones and Mrs. Leon Kuester.
The Oakland Homemakers met Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Ed Michur. Name
tags were made for the Clark County Meeting. The next meeting will be held May 8
at the home of Mrs. Ed Pszneczny. The project lesson will be presented by Mrs.
Kathern Lato and Mrs. George Lobacz.
Relatives honored Mrs. George Poppe at her home Sunday with a belated Birthday
party. Three birthday cakes were served with the lunch.
Danny Hendrickson of Sun Prairie spent the weekend at the home of his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hendrickson.
