Dachel, Dolores H. (20 February 1924 - 24 November 2015)
Dolores H. Dachel, 91, of Chippewa Falls, died Tuesday November 24, 2015, under
the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice at Wissota Health and Regional Vent Center.
Dolores was born on February 20, 1924, in the Town of Eagle point to Ferdinand
and Theresa (Zwiefelhofer) Bowe. On September 13, 1943, she married Marvin P.
Dachel at St. Charles Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls. Dolores was a member of
Holy Ghost Church and the P.C.C.W.
Dolores worked at the Northern Center for 24 years. She enjoyed playing cards,
dancing, and needlepoint.
Dolores is survived by one son, James (Laura) of Racine; three daughters:
Barbara (Jack) Budzinski of Thorp, Patricia Sparhawk of Stevens Point, and Mary
Ellen (Gary) Prill of Bloomer; one sister, Patricia Mayer of Chippewa Falls; and
two sisters-in-law: Janet Bowe and Beverly Simet.
Dolores is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; one son, Michael; her
parents; seven brothers and one sister: Delvin, Clem, Willard, Floyd, Richard
and Raymond, Gerald and Margaret both in infancy; one son-in-law, Maurice
Sparhawk; and one granddaughter, Stacy Budzinski.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 28 at Holy Ghost Church
in Chippewa Falls. Rev. Justin Kizewski was the celebrant of the funeral Mass.
Interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls. Friends called from 4 p.m.
to 8 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2015 and from 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday
at Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. There was a Christian vigil service at
7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
