Judith A. Behrens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Behrens, R. 1, Owen (Clark
Co., Wis.), received the highest scholastic award attainable by students in the
letters and science course of study at the University of Wisconsin recently when
she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Judith is a graduate of Greenwood High School
and was awarded a Knapp Scholarship when she started at the University. She has
done outstanding work in Madison and has also been elected to Sigma Delta Pi,
honorary Spanish fraternity. She was also recently awarded a Detling Fellowship,
which she will use in continuing her graduate work. Judith will graduate from
the University on June 21st, 1957.
