Denfeld, Florence "Mousie" M. (Wendt) (6 APR 1939 - 1 DEC 2015)

Florence "Mousie" M. Denfeld, 76, Edgar, died Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2015 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. Rev. Thomas Huff will preside.

Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.

She was born April 6, 1939 in Rib Falls, daughter of the late Richard and Dorothy (Krueger) Wendt.

On May 5, 1962 she married Harold Denfeld in Wausau. He preceded her in death on October 20, 2003.

Florence worked as a CNA for many years and in her spare time enjoyed fishing, watching birds and cooking. She loved family get togethers and playing candy crush on her Kindle.

Survivors include her children, Jeff (Donna) Denfeld, Edgar, John (Sandy) Denfeld, Stratford, Randy (Paula) Denfeld, Edgar and Rick (Heather) Denfeld, Appleton; grandchildren, Holly Denfeld, Stephanie Denfeld, Jenessa Denfeld, Alaynna Denfeld, Matthew Denfeld and Trent Rheinschmidt; siblings, Jerry (Sigmund) Wendt, Boyd, Elaine (James) Iattoni, Merrill, Kenny (Ruth) Wendt, Marathon, Glen (Jeannie) Wendt, Mosinee, Linda Schreier, Marathon, Gloria Wirkus, Edgar and Sharon Lemmer, Edgar.

Besides her parents and husband, Harold, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Elizabeth, grandson, Michael Denfeld and brother, Thomas Wendt.
