A family reunion of the Vinger family was held here (Greenwood, Clark Co., Wis.)
on Sunday, June 16th, 1957 with a dinner at noon at the Greenwood Café.
Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Gerhardt Vinger, Cambridge, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs.
Malcolm Vinger, New Prague, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Chester Vinger, Argyle; Mr. and
Mrs. Jess Strand, Hollandale; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Robinson, Broadview, Ill.;
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Vinger and son Ted, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ragatz, Stanley; Mr.
and Palmer Vinger, Greenwood.
In the afternoon all enjoyed a visit at the Palmer Vinger home. Others present
were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Vinger, Argyle; Mr. and Mrs. Horace Van Metre,
Shullsburg; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Steiner, Darlington. Lunch was served during the
afternoon.
All of the above named, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Vinger, Mr. and Mrs.
Richard Thompson and Patti Jo went to Stanley, where a 6:00 p.m. dinner was
served at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, which was followed by the Ordination of
Victor Vinger's son Ted, into the Lutheran ministry.
This was followed by a reception and lunch in the church parlors.
