Olsen, Mr./Mrs. Chris (40th – 20 JUN 1957)
Chris Olsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Olsen, and Angeline Dyre, daughter of
Mrs. Annie Dyre and the late John Dyre, were united in marriage at the home of
the bride's parents by Rev. Theo Kleppe.
The Olsen's, who now reside in Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), were surprised at the
home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Olsen, at Loyal on
Sunday, June 23, 1957 with open house in celebration of their 40th wedding
anniversary.
A special cake centered the table at the family dinner attended by about 50
guests, including the seven Olsen children and their families, and Sigward
Johnson, Loyal, an attendant at the wedding. Flwoers and wedding bells completed
the dining room decorations.
The olsen's have one daughter, Mrs. James Stevens, Montello, Wis.; and seven
sons, Conrad, Marshfield; Vern and Arthur, Milwaukee; Rev. Floyd Olsen, Wausau;
Howard, Owen and John A., Loyal.
Those who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Olsen, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Marge,
Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Vern Olsen, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Olsen and children, Mr.
and Mrs. Martin Quast, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Sisson and family, Milwaukee; Rev. and
Mrs. Floyd Olsen and family, Wausau; Mr and Mrs. James Stevens and daughter,
Montello; Miss Oral Olsen, Spring Green; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Olsen and family,
Owen; Mrs. Annie Dyre, Mr. and Mrs. Godrey Dyre and family, Mrs. Josie Hubble,
Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. John A. Olsen and children, Mr. and Mrs. Sigward
Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. John Olson and Mrs. Glen Bloom, and Johnny, Loyal.
