The high school achievements of Carlotta A. Tichy, Route 1, Greenwood (Clark Co.), Wisconsin have won for her a scholarship to Stout State College, Menomonie, Wis., according to an announcement made by officials of that college.

Carlotta will register at Stout on Monday, Sept. 9th, a week later than has been the custom. This later registration date was chosen in order that students and parents need not travel to the campus during the Labor Day Weekend, and for the convenience of the many students whose summer jobs end after that weekend.

When Carlotta registers at Stout State College on Sept. 9, she will be part of the largest enrollment in Stout's 66 year history. This year the student body will number approximately 1200. To meet this growing enrollment, an expanded faculty will be on hand. Contracts have already been let for two wings to the new residence hall for girls, occupied only last September, and bids will soon be opened on a new student union.
