Springer, Raymond James (29 March 1951 - 11 December 2015)
Raymond J. Springer, 64, of Greenwood died Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, at Ministry
St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Raymond James Springer was born March 29, 1951, in Chicago, IL, the son of
Raymond W. and Rose Marie (Kucia) Springer. He attended Catholic School in
Chicago through the fifth grade and confirmation, and then his family moved to
Adams-Friendship, where he graduated from high school. He then went on to
Mid-State Technical College where he graduated in auto mechanics and worked as a
Ford mechanic for many years. Raymond love hunting, fishing and trapping and
also collected guns. He eventually moved to Greenwood.
He is survived by his mother, Rose Marie, of Tampa, FL; sons: Jason (Melissa Yu)
Springer of Merrill, Jeremy (Mary Johnson) Springer of Neillsville, Justin (Dawn
Noah) Springer of Neillsville and Raymond (Melissa Decker) of Greenwood; and 11
grandchildren.
Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Raymond W. Springer.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
