Guralski, Irene L. (Knetter) (3 MAR 1920 - 26 SEP 2005)
Irene L. Guralski, 85, Edgar, died Monday, September 26, 2005 in Antigo.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thurs. September 29, 2005 at
St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Burial will be
in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at St. John
Catholic Church, Edgar.
There will be visitation from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at
the church.
She was born March 3, 1920 in the town of Wien, daughter of the late Frank and
Frances (Rodman) Knetter.
On September 26, 1940, she married John Guralski at Sacred Heart Catholic
Church, Cassel. He survives.
Irene was a homemaker. She was a member of the PCCW St. Cecilia’s Group.
Survivors include her husband, John, Edgar; seven children, Glenroy (Diane)
Guralski, Edgar, LeRoy (Terra Lee) Guralski, Edgar, Jean (John) Sattler,
Schofield, Gerald (Sandra) Guralski, Wausau, Mary (Tom) Fahey, Edgar, Judy
(Wayne) Novak, Stratford and Steve (Carol) Guralski, Stratford; twenty-eight
grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Leona Dobeck, Schofield
and Elsie Szymanski, Schofield.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four children, Michael,
Louise, Elsie and Rosalie Guralski; three grandchildren, Luke Guralski, Joseph
Fahey and Melinda Guralski; and one sister, Florence Feltz.
Memorials may be directed to St. John Catholic School, Edgar. The family wishes
to extend special thanks to the Antigo Emergency Room staff and to Mary Hapke
for all the kind assistance.
