Davis, Patricia Ann (29 OCT 1957)

On Tuesday, Oct. 29, 1957 Miss Patricia Ann Davis, daughter of Mrs. Myrtle Davis, Granton, became the bride of Bernard A. Kitzhaber, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kitzhaber of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), at a 9:00 a.m. nuptial service at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. The Rev. Father Edward Hartung officiated.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her uncle, Ed Lezotte, Neillsville, was attired in a floor length gown of white tulle and lace, featuring a V-neckline and long sleeves. The skirt featured a lace apron effect in front and back, and scalloped ruffles at the sides.

Her fingertip illusion veil fell from a scalloped crown of tulle ruching and she carried a cushion bouquet of roses and stephanotis.

The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. James Suda, Waukegan, Ill., brother-in-law and sister of the groom, and Miss Ila Mae Davis, Granton, sister of the bride, and Alvin Lezotte, Neillsville, cousin of the bride.

Lace boleros were worn by the bridal aides, with their floor length strapless gowns of blue nylon tulle. Horsehair headbands and bouquets of carnations matched their dresses.

Marcia Lezotte, Neillsville, cousin of the bride, as flower girl, wore a white floor length dress and carried a bouquet similar to the bride's. Art Brey, Neillsville, nephew of the groom, carried the rings.

The bride's mother wore a street length dress of maroon and the groom's mother's gown was wine colored. Both wore corsages of white carnations and red roses.

Francis Kohlnhofer, Greenwood, a friend of the couple, and LeRoy Lezotte, Neillsville, cousin of the bride, were ushers.

Breakfast was served at the home of the groom's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Rogillio, following the ceremony. A dinner was served at noon at St. Mary's Hall, and a reception and supper were served at the home of the Groom's parents.

Guests attended the wedding from Chicago and Waukegan, Ill.; Menomonee Falls, Mosinee, Granton, Marshfield, Neillsville and Willard.

The bride, who attended the Granton schools, has been employed at the A.H. Weinbrenner Co. in Marshfield.

The groom is a graduate of the Greenwood High School and served his time with the U.S. Army and is now engaged in farming on the farm north of Greenwood, which he recently purchased and where he will reside.
