Garrow, Emily Alvina (Brown) (13 JUN 1926 - 14 DEC 2015)
Emily Alvina Garrow, 89, Ogema, died in the Aspirus Care and Rehabilitation
Center in Medford on Monday, December 14, 2015.
She was born in Wisconsin on June 13, 1926, the daughter of Dennis and Grace
(Johnson) Brown.
She was married to William Curtis in Minnesota on July 31, 1945, and they later
divorced.
She was married to Marvin Garrow in Medford, Wisconsin, on July 16, 1962, and he
preceded her in death on October 18, 1990.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Ogema. In her free time she
enjoyed flower gardening.
She is survived by one son, Thomas (Lori) Curtis, St. Croix Falls, WI; by one
granddaughter, Lisa; and by one great granddaughter, Jaylyn; and by a special
friend, Marlene Johnson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; and by
one grandson, Jason.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 18, at 12:00 Noon at the
Heindl Funeral Home in Prentice with Pastor Linda Strader officiating.
Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Ogema. Friends may call at the
funeral home on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.
