Wasserburger, Patricia (24 August 1931 - 15 December 2015)

Patricia Van Gorden Wasserburger, 84, passed away with her family at her side Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015.

She was born Aug. 24, 1931, in Whitehall to Kenneth and Lucille Van Gorden. She was a graduate of the Kahler School of nursing, Rochester, MN. She married Charles H. Wasserburger April 21, 1951. Together they owned and operated the Royal Crown Bottling Company from 1959 to 1974.

Pat was a member of the United Church of Christ, serving as deaconess and trustee. She was a contributor to the church bazaar for over 50 years and was a charter member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed skiing, swimming, walking and all outside sports. Pat spent time reading and enjoyed being outdoors at the cabin built by the family of logs of the land. It was a gathering place for the family during the fall bird and deer hunting seasons. She also enjoyed spending time with her many very dear lifelong friends, nieces and nephews.

Surviving her are her son, David (Anita); grandsons: Lucas, Sawyer and Charlie; and granddaughters: Jenny and Chloe.

Pat has requested a celebration of life ceremony be held at the United Church of Christ in Neillsville at a future date.

The family gracefully asks that memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Neillsville Public Library.
