(Unity Senior Citizens meet)
The Unity Senior Citizens Club met Wednesday afternoon, Dec 4, at the Memorial Hall. Mrs. Emil Johnson was elected secretary.
Five new members were welcomed into the club.
The program consisted of numbers by members of the Glee Club from Colby High School; a reading “Just a Housewife,” by Mrs. Herman Francen, and a reading by Mrs. Harry Greve entitled, Behind the Times.”
Cards were played and lunc was served by the Maplewood Homemakers Club.
The next meeting will be on Friday, Jan. 3, 1969, at 1 o’clock. Mrs. Dora Ewert is chairman of the lunch committee and Mrs. Gustave Carlson is chairman in charge of the program.

The auxiliary of the Legion would like the names and addresses of servicemen from this area. Please send them to Mrs. Leo Bloom, Unity.

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Binning, Dona and Gary, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Fischer at Marshfield at the Westview country Club Saturday evening in honor of the birthday of Mr. Binning.

Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Salter drove to Junction City Wednesday to meet Earl Salter, who returned home after visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Ihienfeldt, Mount Prospect, Ill., for the past ten days.

Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Salter visited Mr. and Mrs. John Bruecker and family at Black Creek, Sunday. The Bruecker’s baby daughter, Jo Ellen Fae, was baptized that day. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Morrow and son, Ronnie, Colby, were also guests.

Mrs. George Cook and Mrs. Clarence Ravy visited with Mr. and Mrs. Stan Woods at Wausau Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Radetzky, Scott and Julie, Marshfield, were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Cook.

Mr. and Mrs. Duane Meacham entertained Sunday evening in honor of Mrs. Meacham’s birthday, which was on Saturday, and their wedding anniversary occurring on Sunday. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Meacham, Mr. and Mrs. Jerrold Meacham and family and Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Dommer.
