Schraufnagel, Leonard (18 OCT 1892 - 8 DEC 1968)

Leonard Paul Schraufnagel, 76, Colby, died at Clark County Hospital Sunday, Dec. 8, 1968.

Services were held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. John Pinion officiating. Burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Colby.

Schraufnagel was born Oct. 18, 1892 in the town of Hull (Marathon Co., Wis.) and married Theresa Alexander of Glidden June 15, 1921. The couple farmed in the town of Hull until his wife’s death in 1928, after which he continued farming until 1963. He spent the last few years at the Memorial Nursing Home in Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.)

Leonard Schraufnagel was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert Stoltz of Minneapolis and Mrs. George Ellis of Glidden; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Joe and Henry, both of Glidden, and two sisters, Mrs. Hubert Schauf of Richland Center and Mrs. Theophelia Misledge.

I have updates to the obit you posted today. Leonard's wife Tracy died 6-16-26, not 1928. His sister's name was Mrs. Theophilus Misslich (Anna), not Missluch.
His daughters names were Mrs Madlyn Stoltz and Mrs. Relindis Ellis.
