Merwin, Arthur R. (14 SEP 1895 – 7 DEC 1968)

Arthur R. Merwin, 73, Wausau, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 1968, after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the Peterson Funeral Home, and burial was made at Wausau.

Arthur R. Merwin was born in the town of Holton (Marathon Co., Wis.), Sept 14, 1895. He was a graduate of the Abbotsford High School. His marriage to Etha Weinbauer took place at Wis. Rapids Sept. 22, 1917. They lived a short time in Wis. Rapids and then moved to Wausau. He was an electrical technician and retired about 1960.

He is survived by his wife and one son, Gilbert, at Wausau.

Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Ben and Howard Merwin, and Mrs. L.F. (Rosalie) Loucks of Abbotsford and Mrs. Anton (Ina) Hennlich of Curtiss.
