Majerus, Emily Cecelia (7 APR 1917 – 12 DEC 1968)

Emily Cecelia Majerus, 51, Colby, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 1968 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Services were held Saturday, Dec. 14 at Nick Funeral Home in Tomahawk.

Emily Cecelia Majerus (Isaacson) was born April 7, 1917, and was married in 1936 at Tomahawk to Gregor Majerus. They lived in Tomahawk until 1953, when they moved to Colby. She received her education in Tripoli, Wis.

Emily Majerus was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Colby.

Surviving, besides her husband, are two children, Gregor of Colby and Dale of Abbotsford; four grandchildren; three sisters, Esther (Mrs. Andrew Anderson) of Tomahawk, Myrtle (Mrs. Robert Klade) of Tomahawk, and Florence (Mrs. Ray Janza) of Tomahawk, and a brother, Nels Isaacson, also of Tomahawk.

A special service for Mrs. Majerus was held by the Colby VFW Auxiliary Friday evening, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. at the Lulloff Funeral Home.
