Hartman, Richard L. “Dick” (27 DEC 1939 - 7 JAN 2016)
Richard L. “Dick” Hartman, 76, of Medford, died Thursday, January 07, 2016 at
Aspirus Care & Rehab in Medford surrounded by his loving family.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Hemer
Funeral Home in Medford, with Deacon Joseph Stefancin officiating. Interment
will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford. Urnbearer will be Skyler
Hartman.
Visitation will be at 9:00 A.M. until time of services at 11:00 A.M. on
Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford.
Dick was born on December 27, 1939 in Medford, to Raymond J. and M. (Hanel)
Hartman.
He attended Holy Rosary Catholic Schools in Medford.
Dick worked at various farms in the area for a while. He then worked for Midwest
Silo in Medford until they closed. Dick then worked for the City of Medford for
a period of time before going to work for Black River Industries until ill
health forced his retirement. Dick enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the
Packers and he was a passionate bowler.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Special Olympics.
Dick is survived by siblings, Don (Diann) Hartman of Medford, Nancy (Jamie)
Doberstein of Withee and Barbara (Robert) Gonnering of Curtiss. He is further
survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
He is predeceased by his parents, Raymond J. and Ann M. (Hanel) Hartman; and
sister RuthAnn Scott.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Dick’s family to be designated at a
later date.
