Poncek, Lisa M. (Oelhafen) (15 OCT 1970 - 31 DEC 2015)

Lisa M. Poncek, 45, Town of Spirit, died at her home on Thursday, December 31, 2015, surrounded by her family while under the care of Flambeau Home Health Care and Hospice.

She was born on October 15, 1970, in Port Washington, WI, the daughter of Robert and Joyce (Lemcke) Oelhafen.

She spent her early life in Random Lake and Hartford, Wisconsin before making her home in the Prentice area as a child. She attended Prentice High School.

Following high school she was employed at Biewer’s Saw Mill, then as a CNA at local nursing homes for a number of years prior to ill health forcing her to retire.

She was married to Willard Poncek on December 10, 1988. They later divorced.

She is survived by two daughters: Tiffany Poncek, Chelsea, WI, and Krisstie (Alen) Wolf Saukville., WI, by her mother Joyce Zolmierski, Prentice, by her special friend Jeff Pinkerton, Spirit, by two brothers: Terry Oelhafen, Ogema, and Tim (Betty) Oelhafen, Brantwood, and by two sisters: Tammy Rowe, Westboro, and Annette (Ricky) Click, Kinderville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Oelhafen, by her Stepfather Allen Zolmierski by her grandparents, and by two uncles.

Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.

A memorial fund has been established.

The Heindl Funeral Home, Prentice is in charge of the arrangements.
