Ryder, Ida (29 MAR 1876 – 25 DEC 1968)
Mrs. Ida Ryder, 92, a former area resident, died at the Pauline Nursing Home at
Milwaukee December 25, 1968 at 8 p.m.
Services were conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. and burial was made in the Colby
Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Charles Glidden officiated.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Lulloff Funeral Home of Colby.
The former Ida Yenke was born March 29, 1876 at Butternut. She was married in
February 1895 to William Henry Ryder. They made their home in Abbotsford.
Her husband died in 1934, and Mrs. Ryder continued to live there until about
1950, when she made her home with a son, Raymond, at Milwaukee. For the past
several years she resided at the Pauline Nursing Home at Milwaukee.
Surviving her are her three daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Irene) Horn of Milwaukee,
Mrs. Louis (Effie) Arneson of California, and Mrs. Walter (Norma) Grambort of
Abbotsford, and her son, Raymond Ryder of Milwaukee. There are also 15
grandchildren
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
