Peterson, Anna Marie (25 DEC 1880 – 1 JAN 1969)

Anna Marie Peterson, 86, of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), died Wednesday, January 1, 1969, of an apparent heart attack at the Oxford Nursing Home at Oxford, Wis.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 4, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Curtiss, and the Rev. Roger Tellock officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

The former Anna Marie Peterson was born December 25, 1880 in the town of Hoard (Clark Co.) and taught in the rural schools for ten years before her marriage on November 20, 1919, to Charles Peterson, at Abbotsford. He preceded her in death in 1950. The couple operated a farm in the town of Hoard and in 1949 they retired and moved to Curtiss.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Curtiss.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Kathryn) Brady, Montello; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lena Harrong, Eugene, Oregon, and a brother, Alfred Peterson of Oakland, California.
