Vlcansky, Irene Anna (4 JAN 1917 – 5 JAN 1969)

Irene Anna Vlcansky, 52, of Milwaukee, died Sunday, January 5, 1969, at Milwaukee.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 9, at the First United Church of Christ, Colby. The Rev. Kenneth Dix will officiate and burial will be made in Colby Memorial Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being made by Polnaszek Funeral Home.

Irene Ortmeier was born January 4, 1917 in Manitowoc County and married Steve Vlcansky in Colby in 1940. She received her education at Colby High School and Beauty Culture School at Milwaukee. She has resided in Milwaukee for the past 28 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis of Anaheim, California; one half-sister, Janet Barry, and two half-brothers, Jerome and Earl Olson. She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ortmeier of Abbotsford.
