The Friendship Club was to meet Tuesday evening at the Rollie Benedict home.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bender spent Sunday with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Strey and family, in Owen

Weekend guests at the home of Mrs. Otto Schmidtke were Mr. and Mrs. Norman Adler and daughter, Amy, of Waukegan, Il. Guests Sunday also included Mr. and Mrs. Otto A. Schmidtke and family of Stratford.

Guests Sunday of Mrs. Lloyd Spry were: Mr. and Mrs. Gehrman Radtke of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Workman, Jane and Jeff of St. Paul, Mn, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson, Eric, Evan and Edward, and Mrs. Arnold Anderson of Wild Rose; all arrived in time to attend 9:30 a.m. worship services with Mrs. Spry.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ott of Milwaukee spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Charles Stringer, in Chili and also visited at the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs. Donald Stringer.

Mrs. Glen Lavey and Mrs. Otto Schmidtke were among county ladies who attended a canning and preserving workshop last Wednesday in Merrill. They presented the project the next day at the May meeting of the York Sew and So Homemakers Club at the Nyle Benedict home.

Roland Quicker spent the weekend at his cabin at Hatfield.
