Mohr, David T. (26 June 1946 - 31 December 2015) With Flag

David T. Mohr, age 69, of Stanley, died Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Oakbrook Health & Rehab in Thorp. He was born on June 26, 1946, to the late Tom and Martha (Herman) Mohr. Dave grew up in the area and graduated from Stanley High School. He went on to serve in the Army and returned to the area. Dave farmed for many years and then started Dave Mohr Repair and Trucking until his recent illness.

He is survived by his special companion, Maryann Truckey of Thorp; daughters: Michelle (Mitch) Ramseier of Cadott and Kelsey (Cody Gindt) Mohr of Augusta; one son, Mike (Elana) Mohr of Marysville, KS; one grandson, Trevor Mohr; one granddaughter, Kayla (Greg) Gallagher; one grandchild on the way; two step-grandchildren: Shawna Swim and Jesse Ramseier; two brothers: Bruce (Kada Baehr) Mohr of Thorp, Dennis (Gerri) Mohr of Stanley; and one sister, Diane (Jeff) Gasteyer of Elmwood, WI. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dave is preceded in death by his parents; and a son, David Mohr.

A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. at the Maple Grove Church, Stanley, on Monday, January 4, 2016. Pastor Steven Mohr officiated. Burial followed in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Edson. Visitation was from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley, and on Monday prior to services at the church.
