Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pernic and family of Williams Bay, Mr. and Mrs. John Pernic, Jr., and children of Cedar Rapids, Ia., and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Pernic of Deerfield, Il., visited relatives here and also helped their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Pernic, Sr., move into their new home.

Miss Sara Craig was inducted last Thursday at the Greenwood High School into the National Honor Society.

At a surprise birthday party last Wednesday night for Mrs. John Scharenbrock, birthday songs also were sung for Mrs. John Lesar and Miss Frances Lesar, as their birthdays happed to be several says apart. So it was a triple celebration.

Jean and Justin Bastian are recuperating at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Plautz and Dannie, and Mr. and Mrs. Philip Plautz and Phyllis, of Hales Corners, were here over the weekend to attend the Pakiz-Klinke wedding on Saturday, and were supper guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Plautz and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brezonik of Elm Grove spent the weekend at their summer home.

Charles Krapf, Jr., of Hales Corners spent the weekend here with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krapf, Sr.

Mrs. Betty Fraid of West Allis, and Mr. and Mrs. John Volovsek and family of Superior, spent the weekend here with Mrs. Anna Volovsek.

Mr. and Mrs. William Volovsek and family of Waukegan, Il., visited here with relatives.

The girls of the parish of the Holy Family Catholic Church hosted a Mother’s Day breakfast at the parish center last Sunday after the 8:30 mass.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bourque and Evelyn of Chicago, Il., were here to attend the Opelt-Trybula wedding. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Jordon and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. John Scharenbrock visited last Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Jordon.

The CCD teachers, pupils and their pastor, the Rev. Michael Mertens, held their annual party last Wednesday night at the parish center.

The Rock Dam Bowling League held their annual party last Wednesday night at Rock Dam. A lunch was served and cards were played.

Mrs. Jayne Govek of Medford spent some time last week with Mrs. Ron Volovsek and family.

Mrs. Mary Matkovich and Mary Kay of Milwaukee were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Matkovich.

Mary Kay Matkovich and Carol Will of Milwaukee visited last Saturday with Becky Cohara.
