Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hart entertained Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bedell and family and
Mrs. Dorothy Burr and family for supper on Mother’s Day.
Mrs. Karl Hoebling, Chicago, Il., is visiting her mother, Mrs. Paul Blum.
Candlelight Homemakers are to meet Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Royce
Larsen.
Weekend guests at the home of Mrs. Gust Carl were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mite and
family of Manitowoc and Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Volp of Omro. Guests of Mrs. Carl on
Sunday also included Mr. and Mrs. Tony Perushek and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herman
Carl, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Carl and daughter, and Franklin Mitte.
Mr. and mrs. Lawrence DeMert were Mother’s Day dinner guests of their daughter
and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Art Lau, in Stratford.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schleifer entertained with a dinner Sunday in honor of
their daughter, Cathy, who was confirmed that morning at Calvary Lutheran
Church. Guests included her baptismal sponsors, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Peters and
son of Black River Falls and Mr. and Mrs. Affeldt and family of La Crosse, her
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Peters of Onalaska and Mr. and Mrs. Maynard
Schleifer of Mindoro, and Miss Susan Toulouse and Pastor and Mrs. Ronald Nordin
and family.
Dinner guests Sunday at the William Simek home were his sister and
brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gault, and his mother, Mrs. Mary Simek, of
Wausau.
