Mrs. Carl Johnson, Milwaukee, visited her brother, Edwin Sien, Saturday and Sunday. Thery were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Djert.

Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fischer were Herman Neuman and son, Kenneth, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Neuman of Spencer.

Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Mabbott were Phillip Proft, Athens, and Miss Lynette Proft, Wausau.

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Colby and family, Greenwood, were Sunday visitors at the home of Mrs. Lucy Colby.

Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wiedenhoeft and Mrs. Albert Wiedenhoeft were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hardrath, Owen.

Mrs. George Cook and Mrs. Clarence Ravy were at Wausau Sunday to spend the day with Mr. and Mrs. Stan Woods.

Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ayer and family of Colby spent the weekend at the Johnson cottage at Pier Lake and took in the snowmobile races.

Mr. and Mrs. Corwin Dallman and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Bloom and family and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fischer and family spent the weekend at the Dallman cottage at Swampaauger Lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Melford Binning and Mr. and Mrs. Earl binning, Minneapolis, came Saturday to visit their brother, Floyd Binning, who is a patient at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dearth visited with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nussbaum at Wausau Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Johnson spent the weekend visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin ewert and family at Rhinelander.

A miscellaneous shower and dance was held at Memorial Hall Friday night in honor of June Atcherson and Melvin Kloehn, who plan to be married February 15.

Gust Carlson entered St. Joseph’s Hospital Monday for tests.

Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lynn were Mr. and Mrs. James Merkel and Mitchell, Lori and Barbara, Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Lynn of Colby.

Mrs. Calvin Cook is chairman and Mrs. William Schultz is co-chairman for the Heart Fund drive on the Marathon County side of Unity. They will be making house to house calls during February.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Kilty of Unity celebrated their 28th anniversary and Mrs. Kilty’s birthday last Saturday at the Corral room at the Colby Hotel. People present for the celebration were Mr. and Mrs. John Zassenhaus, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kops and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fleischman.
