Reineking, Terence M. “Terry” (9 DEC 1956 - 12 JAN 2016)
Terence M. “Terry” Reineking, of Neenah, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on
Tuesday, January 12, 2016. He was born December 9, 1956 in Minneapolis, MN, son
of Ted and Janet Reineking.
Terry spent his early years in Minneapolis before moving to Withee, WI with his
family. He graduated from Owen-Withee High School in 1975. Terry served in the
U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged. He worked in his family's salvage
business before getting his CDL & becoming an over the road trucker.
Terry was an owner-operator, and also drove for D and T Trucking, and Heding
Trucking. He was lucky enough to have visited all 48 lower states while driving
truck before his health forced him off the road. If given the chance, he could
talk in length about the loads he hauled & the places he had been. Most
recently, he had helped out periodically at Pyramid Foods in Neenah delivering
orders, answering the phone and whatever else he could do.
Terry loved spending time with his family, watching football, bullriding and
racing, and an occasional trip to a casino.
Survivors include his son, Craig Reineking; his daughter, Kayla (Erik) Ackerman;
his girlfriend, Judy Neitzel; a step-son, Kevin Neitzel; two grandchildren:
Mariska and Lincoln Ackerman; his father, Ted (Colleen) Reineking; a brother,
Marty Reinking and Kim Christophersen; a sister, Cathy (Bob) Martin; and a
nephew and three nieces.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Janet; and his step-father, Eino
Ristola; and a niece, Jennifer.
A Celebration of Terry’s life will be held in April in Withee, WI.
